Clark narrows things down
Wichita, KS defensive end Trace Clark is having a hard time making a decision on where to play college football next year. He did however, manage to trim down his list of potential suitors last week to just seven remaining finalist. Duck Sports Authority caught up with Clark recently to find out which teams made the cut and if the Ducks were one of the lucky seven.
"I just narrowed it down to seven last week," stated Clark. "I made some phone calls and now my top seven are Oregon, Stanford, Purdue, Iowa, KU, Oklahoma State and K State."
Oregon fans are familiar with the Clark bloodlines as Trace's older brother Zac was part of the defensive line that led Oregon to a berth in the national championship game last year. But Duck fans that think that puts them in the lead for younger brother Trace should proceed with caution. Clark insist that things are even among all teams. In fact if family plays a role in his decision everyone needs to keep in mind that his father played for the home state Kansas State Jayhawks. But besides a few subtle hints from older brother Zac, Trace says they are leaving the decision up to him.
