The University of Nebraska became the latest college to come through with a verbal offer for Marcus Allen from Hilliard, Florida.

Though the 6-foot-2, 210-pounder is listed as an athlete by Rivals, Allen said all of the schools that have offered him are doing so for linebacker. SMU was the first to offer Allen, and Nebraska's most recent tender brought him up to 24 scholarships overall.
