Norco (Calif.) four-star linebacker Scott Starr set out to get a scholarship offer from USC during the May Evaluation Period. With one day remaining in May, Starr got his wish. On Memorial Day weekend, the Trojan coaching staff was hard at work making the 6-foot-3, 225-pound linebacker commitment No. 9 for USC in the class of 2012.
