Defensive lineman Dwight Melvin (6-1, 245, 5.0) from Laveen (Ariz.) Fairfax traveled to Palo Alto, Calif., to participate in the NIKE Camp being held there. He hoped that a good performance would get him on the recruiting map. He was not only successful in that endeavor, but he landed his first offer in the bargain.
