Notre Dame's interest in Chris Mangus began just recently but it didn't take the Irish long to extend a scholarship offer to the athlete from Raleigh, N.C. Mangus, who is being recruited as a slot receiver, said he hopes to make his first visit to South Bend in the near future. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound athlete already held three offers, but none matched Notre Dame's brand name.
