Childress enjoys WVU visit, calls it a perfect fit
From the moment Offensive Coordinator Dana Holgorsen took a job with West Virginia, it was assumed that Texas would become a focus area for the Mountaineers recruiting efforts moving forward. And this past weekend a Houston area quarterback was on campus and became the most recent Lone Star State talent to receive a WVU offer.
Ford Childress, a 6-foot-5, 220-pound gunslinger from The Kinkaid School made the long trip from Texas to Morgantown for Saturday's junior day and was impressed with what he saw.
