Deloach to visit GT again?
James Deloach has seen his offer list increase over the past few weeks, and from the way things are looking, it should continue to increase in the near future. On Tuesday, the talented defensive end/outside linebacker picked up an offer from FSU, bringing his offer list to four: Alabama, Tennessee, and Georgia Tech being the three others.
Deloach mentioned that he has been in contact with most of the other programs around the Southeast, and expects to pick up some more offers soon.
The six-foot-three, 265 pound defensive prospect hails from Jenkins High, in Millen, Georgia, where he, and his teammate, defensive tackle prospect Jonathan Taylor, have been the recipients of some big name guests as of late.
"Mark Richt, Derek Dooley, Nick Saban, and D.J. Elliot from FSU have all stopped by my school to talk to us," said Deloach.
Deloach stated that he has visited all the schools that have offered him, with the exception of FSU, but that may change depending on where he decides to take his first Junior Day visit.
"I'm thinking about going to either Georgia Tech's or FSU's Junior Day on the 19th of this month," Deloach stated.
So does Deloach have a leader or a top group at this point?
"I don't have a leader," Deloach said. "Everyone is recruiting me about the same right now, but Georgia Tech is probably the most consistent. I've talked to them the most."
While Deloach has played mostly defensive end in high school, he did say that most schools are recruiting him at outside linebacker. Deloach, however, wouldn't mind the change.
"I have no preference. I'll play defensive end or linebacker. Doesn't matter to me," Deloach stated.
No matter what position he ends up playing college, Deloach promises that he'll be a success because of two things.
"Explosiveness and aggressiveness," said Deloach. "That's what I'll bring to the next level."
