Wildcats tumble at Texas A&M
COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Kansas State broke out new jerseys for its 64-56 loss to Texas A&M, but even that maneuver wasn't executed properly. When freshman Shane Southwell pulled his new purple threads over his head before taking the court on Saturday, he noticed the name on the back was spelled "Souhtwell." The blunder was small but symbolic. As it turned out, K-State again spelled "defeat" correctly, and in turn saw a 15-point, 11-rebound, six-block performance from Curtis Kelly spoiled by poor shooting and other lapses on offense.
