It was everything expected and then some as the Sherwood Bowmen held on for a 26-23 overtime win against the the defending 4A State Champions from Marist. The newly crowned 5A State Champions, led by junior running back Steven Long (5-6 165 Jr. ATH), got up early and fended off a Logan Silver near miracle to win the 2010 Class 5A State Title.
