The Buffaloes return every defensive lineman that played a significant role during the 2009 season, including defensive end Marquez Herrod. CU played a lot of 3-4 last fall, a scheme the 285-pound Herrod fit into well. He led the team in sacks, tackles for a loss and quarterback pressures. Herrod was named honorable mention all-Big 12.
