Rivals.com confirmed with CU Sports Information Department on Wednesday morning that Shannon Sharpe will miss the 2009-10 men's basketball season due to injury. The freshman point guard injured his left knee during a pre-season workout. He will undergo a microfracture procedure on Thursday morning.
